SCM operates as an international investment company, with SCM Holdings bringing together the key assets and providing overarching strategic direction. Day-to-day oversight of mining and metals, energy, investment, real estate, transportation and agriculture businesses is carried out through SCM Limited.

We have a strong presence in mining and metals, energy, banking, telecommunications, transportation, real estate, agriculture and retail, as well as other sectors. Originally a Ukrainian investment company, over the years we have expanded our presence internationally. Today, our companies employ around 150,000 people, representing the talent capital of SCM that is invaluable for sustainable growth of the business.

In mining and metals, Metinvest is a key player in European steel production and iron ore mining, known for integrating modern, low-emission technology in its facilities. In energy, SCM leads through DTEK, investing in renewables and modernising grids to enhance energy independence and sustainability.

SCM is also a major player in Ukraine’s financial sector through First Ukrainian International Bank (FIUB), one of the country’s leading banks, which continues to invest in digital banking and branch development to broaden financial access. Complementing this, its telecommunications businesses enhance digital connectivity and innovation.

SCM’s transportation companies play a crucial role in facilitating trade and transport both in Ukraine and internationally. Its agricultural assets contribute to food security and sustainable farming practices, while its real estate and retail interests help to diversify the portfolio further.
