Metinvest is a vertically integrated group of mining and steel companies that manages every link of the value chain, from mining and processing iron ore to making and selling semi-finished and finished steel products.

Founded in 2006, it has mining and steel production facilities in Ukraine, the EU, the UK and the US, as well as a sales network covering all key global markets.
Metinvest steel has been used for landmark structures like The Shard (UK), Olimpiyskiy Stadium (Ukraine), and the San Giorgio Bridge (Italy). Its products also feature in military vessels in Ukraine, the Netherlands and elsewhere, as well as the world’s largest sailing ship, the Golden Horizon. Metinvest focuses on digital innovation, decarbonisation and automation of production processes to enhance efficiency and resource management.

In 2022, the group founded Metinvest Polytechnic, Ukraine’s first private technical university. It specialises in mining and metals, offering education programmes that blend academic learning with practical training.
