Ukrainian Army receives 11 unmanned aerial vehicles
The Ukrainian army has received another aid batch consisting of 11 high-performance UAVs. The soldiers started using the drones immediately in their combat missions in the hottest spots of the frontline. The equipment was donated by Ukrtelecom as part of Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front military initiative.
All the drones donated by the company are made in Ukraine.
“The assistance the Armed Forces of Ukraine receive from Ukrainian business is vital, because together we are bringing our victory over the enemy closer”, said a representative of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who received the equipment.
“In 2022, Ukrtelecom allocated UAH 50 million to support the defenders. And we keep on helping our defenders, who are bringing victory and peace in a united and free Ukraine closer every moment,” said Yuriy Kurmaz, CEO of Ukrtelecom.
About 350 employees of the company joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
