Despite its close proximity to the front lines, many civilians still remain in Sloviansk. To support them, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has delivered 2,000 essential food packages to the city, specifically intended for families with children.
Each package is filled with the most essential items such as pasta, sugar, salt, flour, cereals, sunflower oil, canned beans, stewed meat, pate, and biscuits.
Overall, the organisation has provided 13 million food packages to Ukrainians since 2014. The help is provided as part of the Rinat Akhmetov - Saving Lives programme.
