Lemtrans, the largest private operator of railway rolling stock in Ukraine, announces the payment of taxes for the first six months of 2024. The total amount of transfers to the budgets of all levels exceeded UAH 300 million. In particular, over UAH 280 million was transferred to the state budget, local budgets were replenished by over UAH 19 million, and the unified social tax reached UAH 19.34 million.
“Paying taxes is an important part of our responsibilities, especially at this critical time for the country. These funds provide funding for important social programmes, infrastructure projects and the country’s defence needs,” says Lemtrans CEO Volodymyr Mezentsev. “We will continue to be a reliable partner for the state and society, contributing to economic growth and social stability.”
Despite the difficult circumstances associated with the destruction and occupation of part of the business, Lemtrans continues to meet its financial obligations to the state.
