System Capital Management (SCM), Ukraine's largest private investor, is launching Invest in Ukraine — a call to Ukrainian and international businesses to invest in the country now. SCM makes this call by its own example: since the start of the full-scale war in 2022, and including the first half of 2026, SCM companies have invested UAH 168.5 billion ($4.3 billion) in Ukraine.
What is Invest in Ukraine?
Invest in Ukraine is SCM's call to other investors to invest in Ukraine alongside it. SCM's own results show that it is possible to invest at scale in wartime and to build businesses that compete at the highest European level. Ukraine's economy is open, resilient and full of opportunity. SCM is investing in that opportunity, and invites others to do the same.
What do the latest figures show?
SCM companies have invested UAH 168.5 billion ($4.3 billion) in Ukraine since 2022, including the first half of 2026. This investment has continued every year of the war, in energy, steel and mining, banking, telecoms, logistics and other sectors. In addition to investment, SCM businesses, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and FC Shakhtar have provided UAH 14.6 billion (over $392 million) in support for Ukraine and its people since the start of the war.
Why does SCM continue to invest in wartime?
Because investment is what keeps Ukraine's economy working. Investment restores generating capacity, rebuilds industrial production, keeps money moving through the banking system, maintains Telecoms connectivity and moves Ukrainian goods to world markets. Investment sustains jobs and tax revenues today, and it builds the capacity Ukraine will need for reconstruction and growth tomorrow. SCM invests because its companies believe in the future of Ukraine's economy — and the figures show that this belief is backed by capital, year after year.
What comes next?
Invest in Ukraine will continue throughout the year, with SCM presenting investment projects and results across its sectors — and inviting partners and investors from across the economy to join the call. Details will be published on our website.
