The staff of the forging department at Kametstal repair and mechanical shop has been working hard since March 2022 to bring victory closer. In addition to the core products, they make brackets for the construction of military dugouts.
Some did not believe until the last minute that the Russian offensive would start; some had apprehensions and slept restlessly the night before the invasion. Yet, everyone woke up in the new reality of the war in the morning of 24 February 2022. However, we did not give up in despair, did not break down, and did not surrender.
Hammer operators, forging specialists, press operators, foremen, and other professionals worked tirelessly to start a bracket production line in a short time frame. More than 20,000 brackets have been made and sent to the front line since the onset of the war.
“The work of our team is not easy, extremely responsible, and demanding. Yet, each of us strives to help our defenders withstand. Therefore, we make every effort so that the dugouts built with our brackets can save the lives of the soldiers. We believe in a bright future for Ukraine and continue to pursue our mission. Making brackets, we bring our victory closer,” shop foreman Oleh Alifanov shared his confidence.
