HarvEast was founded in 2011. As of 2024, it oversees a land bank of 25,000 hectares. Due to Russian military aggression, the company has lost control over around 150,000 hectares in the Donetsk region, as well as two seed plants and significant agricultural machinery.
Crop production remains a core focus for HarvEast, with primary crops including winter and spring cereals such as wheat, corn and barley; oilseeds like sunflower and rapeseed; and niche crops like flax and mustard. Since 2017, the company has prioritised developing its seed production capabilities by collaborating with global seed producers and implementing advanced irrigation techniques to enhance seed quality.
