The renowned aerial reconnaissance man nicknamed Madiar, commander of the Birds of Madiar group, has announced an unprecedented UAH 350 million for 20,000 suicide drones and 200 relay drones. FUIB has donated UAH 3 million for 200 kamikadze drones.
The first batch with a few thousand drones has already been manufactured and will be shipped to Ukraine as soon as the fundraising campaign is over. The drive raised just over UAH 150 million as of 13 June and will continue until 14 June 2023. Since the onset of the war, the bank has already transferred over UAH 90 million to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Territorial Defence Forces, the State Emergency Service, the National Police, the National Guard, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and the Security Service of Ukraine. The funds were used to purchase bulletproof vests, helmets, gas masks, thermal imagers, tactic army backpacks, protective clothing and footwear, UAVs, vehicles, medicines, and fuel. The bank's social project "We are of One Blood" has already raised UAH 4 million for 2,000+ tactical medicine items, 2 low-temperature blood plasma storage freezers, 4 patient monitors for paramedics, and 46 blood deliveries to hotspots (one delivery helps save up to a thousand lives). More than a thousand Ukrainians have also become donors as part of this initiative.
