On 14 June, World Blood Donor Day is celebrated across the globe. However, this is a usual day for DTEK Energy employees as donating blood has become a good tradition that contributes to saving lives.
Since the start of the all-out invasion, nearly 1,300 employees of DTEK Energy power generating, coal mining and heavy engineering companies have chosen to become blood donors for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the victims of war.
Most of these people have donated blood at the Blood Donor Centres many times. Nine DTEK Energy companies are located within close proximity to the contact line. So the employees, better than anyone else, understand the value of donor blood for the Ukrainian defenders, children, victims of war, and other people in need for donor blood.
