Ukrainian fighters have received a mobile processing centre from Metinvest as part of Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front military initiative. This is a container with a modern server inside.
Amid the full-scale war, Metinvest has become the biggest private investor of the Ukrainian army. In addition to the body armour and protective gear, the Company supplies fighters with modern equipment that can give them an advantage over the enemy. Recently, Metinvest has handed over a mobile data processing centre (DPC).
It enables to store a huge amount of data, implement complex modern IT projects and implement modular accounting systems. If necessary, such a server can simply be moved and deployed in a new secure location without losing any data. It has a market value of UAH 15 million.
This type of mobile solutions are used in hotspots by the world’s leading armies to adjust and coordinate data exchange.
“We received an inquiry from the military as it could be of use to them, so we provided the equipment. The data centre can process a large amount of information and communications and ensure smooth operation of units.
