Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, Metinvest has been focused on providing assistance to the Ukrainian military.
The company provides employees who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other combatants who defend Ukraine with bulletproof vests and helmets. Our defenders in Donetsk area have again received body armour, shelters, military equipment, and potbelly stoves made of Metinvest’s steel.
Recently, Metinvest has handed over two UAVs and six charging stations to our soldiers fighting in Donetsk area under Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front military initiative.
“Metinvest continues to help our defenders, in particular, in Donetsk area. This time, we’ve given out night-vision drones with thermal imaging cameras and EcoFlow charging stations. In addition, the company makes steel to produce dugout shelters and bulletproof vests that we also donate to the military,” said Oleksandr Myronenko, COO of Metinvest Group.
The combatants say that Metinvest’s assistance is especially important now that the enemy has become more active following rotation.
“We are very grateful to Metinvest Group for their regular support. Mavic drones will help our intelligence officers keep an eye on the enemy, especially at night, and EcoFlow charging stations quickly charge our devices and batteries, including batteries for drones. We benefit from their noiseless run and portability on the front line,” said a soldier nicknamed Arfa.
