On 28 March, the FinAwards 2025 ceremony took place in Kyiv, honouring excellence in Ukraine’s banking sector. Recognised as one of the most prestigious awards in the financial industry, this flagship event brings together the top professionals each year to celebrate industry leaders and shape the future of financial services. As one of the country’s largest and most successful banks, FUIB was nominated in numerous categories and took home awards in nine of them. The bank also served as the event’s General Partner.
Participants in 35 award categories included representatives from banks, microfinance institutions, insurance companies, influencers, and other key players in Ukraine’s financial market. The nominations were grouped into four main categories: Financial Products, Financial Institutions, Technologies, and Personalities.
Undoubtedly, every nominee plays a vital role in driving the transformation of Ukraine’s financial sector and deserves recognition.
Based on the results of public and jury voting, FUIB was awarded first place in the following categories:
- • Best Credit Card (VseMOZHU Online)
- • No.1 Card in the Wallet (VseKARTA)
- • Best Bank for Corporate Clients
FUIB also earned second place in the following categories:
- • Leading Technologies and Innovations
- • Best Bank for Sole Proprietors (FOPs)
- • Best Mobile Banking App
In addition, FUIB received several honours in the individual awards categories.
FUIB CEO Serhiy Chernenko was once again named Banker of the Year. Kseniia Sikorska, Director of FUIB’s Marketing Department, was awarded Best Marketing Executive, while Deputy CEO Dmytro Polishchuk was recognised as Best Head of Retail Banking.

In total, FUIB took home nine awards at the FinAwards 2025 ceremony – the highest number received by any participant this year.
As always, FinAwards 2025 was organised by the leading Ukrainian financial media outlets Finance.ua and Minfin. Winners were selected through a two-stage process: an open vote by readers of Minfin and Finance.ua, followed by a vote from a respected panel of industry experts.
