Last week, Forbes Ukraine released its 2024 Top 50 Best Employers in Ukraine ranking compiled jointly with the online job search platform, Robota.ua. The ranking recognised FUIB as the best employer among financial institutions across Ukraine, placing the bank 15th overall among national companies. This achievement marks FUIB's third consecutive year as the best employer in Ukraine's financial sector, following similar recognition from Forbes in 2023 and 2022.
A distinguished jury evaluated all participating companies across ten categories, employer brand, employment conditions, benefits package, fair compensation, contribution to victory, sense of security, transparency, development opportunities, and equality. This year, the organisers collected 41,875 employee surveys from over 200 companies.
FUIB earned a score of 76 points, thanks in part to the bank's significant investment in employee support, totalling more than UAH 53 million in 2023. This support included extra payments to employees in "red zones", financial aid for those who lost their family members or suffered property damage due to the war, and assistance for conscripted employees purchasing military gear.
Additionally, FUIB facilitated employment for staff displaced from the occupied or frontline territories and consistently promoted career development within the bank. Last year, FUIB launched a new digital office in Kyiv, designed as a "smart home" co-working space. With humaneness as a fundamental corporate value and ongoing team support, FUIB continues to lead as a top employer among Ukrainian banks for the third year running.
"This year, we have once again confirmed our top position in Forbes' ranking of best bank employers. Being first is always an honour, but maintaining leadership is especially challenging and rewarding! I'm grateful to the bank's management for consistently prioritising our employees alongside results and customers. I also want to thank our HR team for their dedication to employee development and support, and our staff for many positive feedback comments,"
said Svitlana Tykhonenko, head of the Department for Employer Brand Development.
Earlier, FUIB also ranked among the top 25 best employers for veterans according to Forbes Ukraine.
