FUIB supports talented students of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) not only through scholarships but also by creating a comfortable and inspiring environment for study and development. A vivid example of this is the launch of new educational spaces at KSE, which opened on 16 May thanks to the bank’s continued support. Two modern student areas have been unveiled on the fifth floor of KSE, designed for study, rest, teamwork, and informal interaction.
The new spaces feature:
• Nap pods, because sometimes a 20-minute rest is better than coffee;
• Zones for individual and group learning;
• Board games for those who believe that informal communication is also a form of education;
• A future library (possibly digital) with a curated selection of recommended literature;
• And as a playful bonus - branded helmets, because low ceilings should never limit bright minds.
During the opening event, Serhiy Chernenko, CEO of FUIB addressed the students, emphasising the importance of long-term investment in Ukrainian youth and in building an environment that cultivates the next generation of leaders.
“KSE is one of the most powerful educational institutions in the country, motivating young people to pursue a quality education here, at home in Ukraine. That’s why we’ve been supporting the Kyiv School of Economics for the past nine years. At FUIB, we believe that Ukrainian youth are the driving force behind the country’s recovery, and we must do everything we can to nurture and empower that potential,” said Serhiy Chernenko.
Students also had the opportunity to engage with the CEO, ask about his professional journey, and learn what qualities and skills large businesses are looking for today. The event’s casual atmosphere was complemented by a pizza party and creative workshops.
“These new spaces are about care, trust in our students, and belief in their future. Thanks to FUIB’s support, we’re able to create opportunities that inspire growth, collaboration, and free thinking,” said Svitlana Denysenko, Director of the KSE Foundation.
Thanks to FUIB’s years-long commitment, more than 90 talented students have already received scholarships and the chance to thrive right here in Ukraine.
