FUIB has contributed to the largest fundraising campaign for the 13th Khartia Operational Assignment Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. The campaign titled The Army Reaches Shared Borders aims to raise UAH 40 million to purchase a fleet of UAVs and related equipment. The bank funded the acquisition of 30 Mavic 3T drones, spending over UAH 5 million. The purchased drones are making their way to brigade units fighting on the front lines. FUIB’s team supports the campaign’s mission to liberate Ukrainian territories from the invaders and reach the northern border of Kharkiv Region.
Overall, FUIB’s direct investments to support the security and defence forces have exceeded UAH 256 million since the full-scale invasion began. The bank is also implementing social initiatives, We Are of One Blood and Meeting Half Way, designed to save the lives of our defenders and assist in their recovery. Serhiy Zhadan, a Ukrainian poet and Khartia combatant, is one of the ambassadors and creators of We Are of One Blood project that provides defenders with tactical medical supplies each month, delivers blood components and adaptive clothing to the wounded, and equips paramedics.
