With the heating season on its peak, DTEK Energy continues to operate at full capacity to meet the needs of Ukrainian miners for mining equipment.
Over ten months of 2023, the company manufactured and repaired 695 units of mining equipment to ensure a smooth autumn-winter period in Ukraine. Thus, it produced 14 new roadheaders and shearers and provided Ukrainian miners with almost 931,000 spare parts and components.
DTEK's heavy engineers help our miners keep on producing coal at maximum capacity and maintain the required fuel reserves to ensure smooth operation of Ukrainian thermal power plants and the country's entire energy grid.
Since the war broke out, it has been predominantly power engineers who have been at the forefront of Ukraine's energy efforts. Yet, there are other professionals whose contributions are less visible, but no less important. I'm talking about miners and heavy engineers. Thermal power plants require a substantial coal supply, particularly during challenging heating seasons. To ensure this, it is imperative that we provide coal miners with all necessary equipment. We keep working towards this goal,” said Ildar Salieiev, CEO of DTEK Energy.
