In April, power engineers from DTEK Odesa Grids restored electricity to more than 1,000 households that had been left without power due to enemy attacks. Crews begin repair work immediately after receiving clearance from military command and the State Emergency Service. Our goal is to ensure that towns and villages have access to electricity – a critical need for the everyday lives of people in the region.
Last month, Odesa Region was once again subjected to hostile attacks. Over the course of April, DTEK teams restored electricity to 1,138 families in the region. As soon as clearance was granted by the military and emergency services, the teams began emergency repair work.
“Our mission is to do everything possible to keep the lights on for Ukrainians despite the ongoing attacks. The moment an air raid alert is lifted and repairs are greenlighted by military and emergency authorities, our crews begin work to restore power to our customers as quickly as possible,” said Dmytro Hryhoriev, CEO of DTEK Odesa Grids.
Since the start of the full-scale war, DTEK Odesa Grids has restored electricity to more than 1.9 million customers* who had lost power due to enemy attacks.
