DTEK Energy enterprises continue to actively prepare for the next heating season. The power engineers repair and restore thermal power plants, while miners work to maintain the fuel stock required for operation of TPPs.
In January-July 2024, DTEK Energy miners commissioned 11 new longwalls, ensuring fuel supply to thermal power plants during peak summer loads and securing enough fuel stock for the next heating season.
“The upcoming heating season poses an immense challenge for all of us. Every Ukrainian has already fully felt the implications of massive attacks on the power grid. We are working hard to strengthen the energy front to minimise these implications in winter. The power engineers are restoring the damaged and destroyed TPP capacities as quickly as possible. And our miners are making every effort to maintain sufficient fuel supply for the peak summer and winter loads. To this end, we plan to launch 27 new longwalls this year in total, with 11 already operational and 16 more to be commissioned from August through December,”
said Ildar Salieiev, CEO of DTEK Energy.
