DTEK Energy continues to help Ukrainians who have been forced to leave their homes due to the occupation or impending hostilities. Since February 2022, the company's coal mining, energy and machine-building companies have employed more than 3,800 internally displaced people.
The vast majority of those employed - more than 80% - joined DTEK Energy's coal mining companies. Most of them did not have a mining background and were retrained on the job. There are also many young people who found their first jobs at Ukrainian mines.
