As the war rages on, Ukrtelecom continues to develop optical infrastructure, help the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and provide internet access in almost 90% of localities covered by the operator’s network before the outset of the all-out Russian invasion.
Operating efficiency
In 9M 2023, Ukrtelecom earned more than UAH 3.8 billion, with EBITDA exceeding UAH 1 billion and the EBITDA margin standing at 28%.
Fibre optic network development
Ukrtelecom continues to develop its fibre optic infrastructure and has laid about 4,000 km of fibre optic lines this year.
The new connections to high-speed optical Internet include both corporate and retail customers. In the first nine months of 2023, more than 120 medical institutions and about 140 educational establishments connected to optical Internet from Ukrtelecom.
Taxes
Ukrtelecom discharges its obligations to the government in full.
Over nine months of this year, Ukrtelecom paid over UAH 1 billion in taxes to all kinds of budgets.
Repair and maintenance works
The emergency repair crews work daily wherever possible to remedy accidents caused by enemy shelling and provide quality services to the company’s subscribers. They keep working in the front-line cities, towns and villages, as well as in the settlements liberated from the invaders.

Assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukrtelecom continues to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Ukrtelecom has handed over tens of UAVs to the Defence Forces, including Valkyrie and Leleka systems, hundreds of smaller drones, thousands of special command and control devices, medical items, hundreds of vehicles, etc.
The total support provided amounts to around UAH 70 million, demonstrating Ukrtelecom’s strong commitment to the country’s defence.
About 400 employees of the company joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend our country.
