Ukrtelecom has delivered a new batch of specialized UAVs to the Ukrainian army as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative. The latest consignment, comprising one hundred domestically produced drones, will help Ukrainian warriors in their combat missions.
"In this era if technological warfare, our advancement is directly linked to our proximity to victory. FPV drones are one of our most effective weapons. The larger our arsenal of these drones, the faster we defeat our enemy. Together with my brothers-in-arms, we thank Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front for their unwavering support and assistance to the Defence Forces," stated Igor, known by his call sign Hummer, the commander of the attack UAV unit of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade.
"Every day, we are thankful to our defenders for the normalcy they preserve for us - the ability to wake up in our homes, work in our offices, and prepare for Christmas. Thanks to you, we continue to live freely on our land. Thus, we are committed to supporting our heroes, and today's dispatch of another set of drones, as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative, is a testament to this commitment. These drones will assist our defenders in defeating the enemy, while we at Ukrtelecom will continue to help our warriors," said Ukrtelecom CEO Yuriy Kurmaz. He added: "Our deepest gratitude goes to everyone defending Ukraine. We honour those who have fallen in this war. Glory to the Heroes!"
Since the onset of the all-out war, Ukrtelecom has sent out dozens of UAVs to the Defence Forces, including the Valkyrie and Leleka unmanned combat aerial systems, along with hundreds of drones, thousands of combat management systems, medical supplies, vehicles, and various other forms of assistance. Ukrtelecom has already channelled over UAH 70 million towards the needs of the defenders. Almost 400 Ukrtelecom employees have joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
All of Rinat Akhmetov's businesses joined efforts to help the Ukrainian defenders. They have donated nearly UAH 6 billion in aid to Ukraine as part of the Steel Front initiative.
