In January-February 2025, DTEK Energy allocated around UAH 720 million for the repair and restoration of thermal power plants (TPPs) that were damaged as a result of enemy attacks. This amount represents a quarter of the total investment made in TPP restoration over the course of 2024.
The company continues to carry out repair work around the clock, as the scale of destruction caused by large-scale enemy strikes remains unprecedented. As of summer 2024, 90% of DTEK Energy’s thermal generation capacity had been damaged or destroyed.
Since the beginning of 2025, DTEK Energy has invested UAH 720 million in TPP repairs and restoration following attacks.

In 2024, DTEK Energy invested UAH 3.6 billion in the restoration of thermal power plants and an additional UAH 7.5 billion in Ukrainian coal mining.

In 2024, Russia launched 13 major attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, severely damaging DTEK Energy’s TPPs. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the company’s plants have been targeted more than 205 times. These attacks have injured 56 power plant workers and claimed the lives of four.
