These Ukrainian-made Contra-drone systems, including 30 devices (8 of the Ultra model), are designed to neutralize enemy drones used for reconnaissance and dropping explosives. They cover frequency ranges from 300 to 1200 MHz, 2400–2500 MHz, and 5725–5850 MHz, with an effective operational range of up to 300 meters.
The mobility and ease of use of these systems make them ideal for front-line operations, capable of being mounted on vehicles or carried by personnel. They are powered by either a vehicle battery or an internal rechargeable battery with a one-hour operating duration.
“These systems effectively counteract enemy drones, preventing reconnaissance and attacks on our positions. They significantly enhance personnel safety and mission effectiveness.”
- a representative from the 157th Brigade emphasized.
Anton Honcharuk, a spokesperson for the Steel Front initiative, added,
"The mobility and simplicity of these systems make them invaluable on the front lines, helping to save lives and hold the defensive line.”
The Steel Front consistently supports this unit with vehicles (pickups, minibuses, and passenger buses), additional EW systems like the Parasol 02 and trench-based complexes, and other essential equipment such as vehicle tires and tools.
