Local Development
SCM’s companies play a pivotal role in social and economic development, often as the main employers and taxpayers in their local communities. This creates a strong and meaningful connection between the two.

All SCM companies fulfil their tax obligations on and ahead of schedule, contributing directly to local economies. While tax payments are a legal obligation, our investments in community development are voluntary initiatives. SCM actively supports diverse projects aimed at improving living standards and fostering economic growth. Our initiatives enhance local economic environments, social infrastructure, education, culture, and physical activity.

We believe that sustainable progress is best achieved by joining forces with all stakeholders, including local governments, international organisations, civic groups, and local residents. We seek to partner with everyone who is dedicated to creating positive change and improving community life.

The primary framework through which SCM implements its social initiatives is the Social Partnership Programme. Through it, our projects are already making a difference by helping to create modern schools and kindergartens, hospitals, public parks, and sports facilities.

SCM’s social initiatives include:

  • Developing social infrastructure
  • Education
  • Healthcare
  • Culture
  • Sports
  • Environmental awareness and energy efficiency
  • Community engagement
  • Business environment development
