People from Mariupol who have been displaced to many other Ukrainian cities are trying to settle there and all dream of returning back home. The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation continues to comprehensively support these IDPs, having recently sent 3,300 food parcels to Dnipro, Kyiv, and Kremenchuk, where IamMariupol centres will take care of their distribution.
The Foundation is on track to deliver 20,000 food packages to people through IamMariupol centres by the end of the summer. The packages contain pasta, sugar, salt, flour, cereals, canned beans, stewed meat, pate, cookies, and sunflower oil.
In 2022 and 2023, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation supplied more than 55,000 food parcels and 40,000 hygiene kits to IamMariupol centres across the country.
Overall, the organisation has provided 13 million food packages to Ukrainians since 2014. In total, humanitarian aid from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, SCM's businesses, and FC Shakhtar has reached more than 18 million people.
The help is provided as part of the Rinat Akhmetov - Saving Lives programme.
