Ukrtelecom continues to meet its financial obligations to the state in full and on time. In 2024, the company paid over UAH 1.33 billion in taxes at all levels, reaffirming its significant role in supporting the state budget.
According to Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, Ukrtelecom is among the four largest taxpayers in the telecommunications sector, alongside Kyivstar, Vodafone Ukraine and Lifecell. Telecoms sector not only connects Ukrainians, covering distances and challenges, but also plays a crucial role in supporting the national economy.
Despite the hardships of war, Ukrtelecom continues to provide services to individuals, businesses, critical and social infrastructure, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The company maintains internet access in 90% of the localities covered by its network before the full-scale invasion and is actively expanding its fiber-optic telecommunications network, strengthening the country’s digital resilience.
