The 157th Separate Mechanised Brigade has received a substantial new shipment of aid from Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front. This latest package includes vehicles, drones, electronics, repair and logistics equipment, and supplies for daily needs - everything essential for the brigade’s effectiveness on the front lines.
The unit received eight pick-up trucks, three minibuses, two 12-tonne trucks, and a powerful tractor with a low-loader trailer capable of transporting up to 68 tonnes. This heavy-duty trailer will be used to evacuate equipment - primarily armoured vehicles - to repair bases, significantly reducing downtime and increasing the brigade’s mobility.
Also included are fifteen DJI Matrice 4T night-vision drones, professional UAVs equipped with thermal imaging cameras that enable reconnaissance at night or under cover of smoke or forest. Another critical addition: twenty AvengeAngel antennas, ten electronic warfare systems, and ten inverters. These components support mobile command posts, ensure uninterrupted communications, and protect against enemy drones.
Beyond combat tools, the brigade also received equipment to support rear operations - strengthening logistics and improving living conditions for soldiers even in the field.
“We’re committed to continuously supporting the 157th Brigade - they’re our reliable partners on the front line. This time, we didn’t just provide a collection of equipment, but a comprehensive solution: for missions, for logistics, for evacuation, and for repairs. Everything was provided based on the unit’s requests,”
said Anton Honcharuk, representative of the Steel Front.
“This is truly targeted assistance. The low-loader trailer is absolutely critical. We have equipment that needs to be evacuated from the battlefield for repairs - and now we can do that quickly and without relying on outside resources.” “The drones, electronic warfare systems, inverters - everything increases our efficiency and safety,”
added a soldier from the 157th Brigade.
