The “Steel Front” initiative by Rinat Akhmetov has provided the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov" with a set of medical equipment to equip a fully operational field hospital in the combat zone.
The delivered equipment includes HAMILTON-T1 ventilators, a portable Venue Go ultrasound device, a mobile operating table, infusion pumps, blood transfusion kits, and more.
This equipment list can be called the "gold standard" for a military operating room, covering a wide range of emergency needs and enabling autonomous operation without significant rear support.
Additionally, the supplied equipment includes items for equipping an ambulance, such as ventilators, ultrasound devices, aspirators, and vital signs monitors.
“This includes everything necessary for a fully functional operating room and ambulance – enabling high-quality and prompt surgeries under any conditions to save the lives of our defenders. We hand this over with great gratitude to the soldiers who are defending the country,”
commented Kseniya Sukhova, a representative of the "Steel Front" initiative.

The equipment addresses critical needs for emergency care in life-threatening combat injuries, such as wounds, hemorrhages, blast injuries, burns, fractures, and chest trauma. This is a "rapid response" kit designed to stabilize the injured, save lives, and prepare for further evacuation to the rear.
“The received equipment will significantly enhance our capacity to provide medical assistance in field conditions. We are grateful for the support that saves the lives of our comrades,”
added Ivan Ihnatiev, logistics chief of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov."
Throughout 2024, the brigade’s fighters carried out missions on the most challenging sections of the front, including the Lyman and Toretsk directions.
