This week, trucks carrying almost 4,500 food packages on board set off for Kirovohrad Region. The assistance from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation is intended for internally displaced persons from across Ukraine. Details of distribution will follow later, stay tuned for updates on social media.
Each package is filled with the most essential items such as pasta, sugar, salt, flour, cereals, sunflower oil, canned beans, stewed meat, pate, and biscuits. These are non-perishable foodstuffs, and many people are eagerly awaiting this assistance.
The Foundation has provided 13 million food packages to Ukrainians since 2014. Overall, humanitarian aid from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, SCM’s businesses, and FC Shakhtar has reached more than 18 million people.
The help is provided as part of the Rinat Akhmetov – Saving Lives programme.
