The military medics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have received yet another batch of assistance from Metinvest Group.
As part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative, the company donated 100 radiation dosimeters and 10 ambulances
that will soon make it to combatants defending Ukraine near the occupied Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant. The total value of the equipment is UAH 8 million.
"We want to express our sincere gratitude for this support in bringing our victory closer. It is absolutely crucial that trained medics make it to the soldiers on time. We are going to hand these vehicles over to the medical corps of the military units that perform combat missions,”
said Brigadier General of the Medical Corps Serhii Khalyk.
Since the outset of the all-out war, Metinvest has sent to the front lines more than 100 ambulances valued at over UAH 70 million. The company used to buy most vehicles in Italy, but now it has to source them in other countries as well.
