The New Year holidays are over, but the magic can still be felt in the air. Our common gift for the defenders will help save their lives. On the eve of the winter holidays, FUIB announced a fundraising campaign to raise UAH 6 million to buy surgical equipment for a frontline hospital. The bank called on its friends, clients, partners, and committed Ukrainians to join the drive to buy emergency operations equipment for a hospital closest to a combat area in the South. Military surgeons operate on the wounded 24/7 in the frontline hospitals. There are not enough operating rooms. The heavily wounded have no time to wait. Any assistance in equipping new medical care stations is crucial. The Charity Foundation of Serhiy Prytula is a partner of the project.
FUIB made its first contribution of UAH 3 million, and another UAH 2,341,832 were donated by Ukrainians. The fundraising campaign ran on www.pumbdonation.com.ua. The bank will donate additional UAH 658,168 to cover the outstanding amount to purchase the equipment.
All surgical equipment will be delivered to the hospital within a month and a half. We will update you as soon as the new operating room is launched. The emergency care hospital will help the wounded soldiers and victims of the de-liberated areas in Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts.
