Last year, DTEK Energy's heavy engineering arms manufactured and repaired 750 units of mining equipment to maintain reliable operation of the Ukrainian mines.
The most significant products were 15 new headers and shearers, which enabled the miners to ensure the highest coal outputs and maintain the required fuel stock for reliable operation of thermal plants and the overall energy grid of Ukraine.
Furthermore, in 2023 the heavy engineers supplied close to 1.1 million spare parts and components to the miners.
"Last year, the Ukrainian heavy engineering industry had no less responsibility than in the unprecedented 2022. Back then, they had to cover the needs of miners while having their production facilities relocated from the warzone to safer regions. In 2023, they took every effort to let our miners meet their coal output targets. We all share the same goal to bring light and heating to the Ukrainians despite any dark intentions of our enemy,"
explained Ildar Salieiev, CEO of DTEK Energy.
