DTEK Energy heavy engineers continue to work their hardest to deliver more mining equipment to Ukrainian miners.
In January-April this year, they produced and repaired 553 mining equipment units. The most crucial new equipment includes six headers and shearers.
To further bolster the mining operations, the engineers supplied 355,000 spare parts and components.
This consistently impressive performance of the company's heavy engineering arms already lays a solid groundwork for the next heating season in Ukraine.
"Next winter will be truly challenging for all power engineers, because the grid's capacity decreased by more than 8 GW due to the recent massive attacks by Russia, which is a huge deficiency. Thus, all our efforts are focused on restoring the damaged and destroyed thermal generation facilities, which took one of the biggest hits. Despite our thermal power plants consuming significantly less coal, we still make every effort to maintain coal production at the last year's level. Our heavy engineers play a critical part in this by providing miners with all the necessary equipment. We work our hardest to keep the lights on in every Ukrainian household,"
said Ildar Salieiev, CEO of DTEK Energy.
