The dedication of DTEK Energo’s employees extends beyond reinforcing Ukraine’s energy sector in preparation for winter; they are actively involved in humanitarian initiatives as well.
Specifically, following the escalation of the conflict, the company has supplied more than 800 tonnes of coal to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces, meet the needs of Ukrzaliznytsia (the Ukrainian Railways), and aid other humanitarian endeavours.
With the onset of autumn, miners have delivered 28 tonnes of essential fuel to Ukrainian defenders, crucial for heating during the cold weather.
Furthermore, in response to the full-scale Russian invasion, DTEK Group has committed approximately UAH 1 billion to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces and various humanitarian efforts. A significant portion of this support is attributed to the contributions from DTEK Energo’s energy, coal mining, and machine-building assets.
