In May, the Lifesaving Merch team took part in Superhumans Reunion 25 — the largest gathering for veterans and their families, organized by the Superhumans Center in Kyiv. This event gave us the opportunity to personally connect with those we serve and once again reaffirm the value of our mission. During the event, we shared the story behind our We Are of One Blood initiative and emphasized the importance of creating adaptive clothing for wounded soldiers. We also encouraged the veterans to join another FUIB’s initiative — the Meeting Half Way grant programme, which provides opportunities for veteran business development. This programme is yet another step toward helping Ukraine’s defenders not only recover, but also contribute to building the country’s future.
Also in May, Lifesaving Merch launched a new collection of sweatshirts. This time, the designs feature iconic prints by tattoo artist Ulyana Nesheva, combined with powerful lines by one of the generation’s most beloved poets — Serhiy Zhadan. Modern, trendy colors, high-quality fabrics, and meaningful messages — these new sweatshirts are for those who want to wear not just style, but values. They’re the perfect choice for cool summer evenings and a reminder that fashion can carry real social impact.
Thanks to the support of people who share the project’s mission, Lifesaving Merch raised UAH 316,890 in May, which funded:
- 153 SICH tourniquets for Blood Agents;
- two FT70 infusion and blood warmers, one Aitecs 2016 syringe infusion pump for Hospitallers;
- two blood delivery missions to frontline areas for Donor UA.
In May, we produced and delivered 500 units of adaptive clothing for wounded soldiers to the KOLO Charity Foundation.
