First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB), part of SCM, has published its results for the first half of 2026. Net profit was UAH 3.12 billion ($70 million), assets grew to UAH 238.8 billion ($5.3 billion) and equity rose 10.5% to UAH 34.9 billion ($778 million). The bank's total loan portfolio increased by 17.6% since the start of the year to UAH 115.4 billion ($2.6 billion). FUIB continues to lend to Ukrainian business through a fifth year of full-scale war.
What did FUIB report for the first half of 2026?
FUIB reported a net profit of UAH 3.12 billion ($70 million) for the six months to 30 June 2026. Assets grew by 3.3% since the start of the year to UAH 238.8 billion ($5.3 billion), and equity increased by 10.5% to UAH 34.9 billion ($778 million). Net interest income rose 33.7% year on year to UAH 10.88 billion ($243 million), and net fee and commission income rose 9.7% to UAH 1.92 billion ($43 million).
How much is FUIB lending to Ukrainian business?
FUIB's total loan portfolio reached UAH 115.4 billion ($2.6 billion), an increase of 17.6% since the start of the year. Corporate lending, net of expected credit losses, grew by 15.5% to UAH 86.4 billion ($1.9 billion). The retail loan portfolio grew by 24.2% to UAH 29.0 billion ($647 million). Customer funds held with the bank stood at UAH 194.6 billion ($4.3 billion) on 30 June 2026, 1.8% higher than at the start of the year.

What has FUIB done in digital banking?
In the first half of 2026, FUIB became the first bank in Ukraine to receive authorisation from the National Bank of Ukraine in the field of Open Banking. The bank continues to invest in financial services, digital technology and customer experience, and received several professional awards during the period for marketing communications, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.
How does FUIB support the country and society?
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, FUIB has paid UAH 22.8 billion ($508 million) in taxes to the state budget and its social investment has passed UAH 1.4 billion ($31 million). The bank's 2025 social report, published earlier this year, set out spending of more than UAH 495 million ($11 million) in that year alone on support for the Security and Defence Forces, blood donation, accessible branches and services, employee assistance and education.
