DTEK Energy continues to prepare TPPs to operate at maximum capacity during the next heating period.
The repair campaign includes refurbishment works as well as 27 routine repairs of TPP energy units. The company has already completed 4 of them, with 9 repairs in progress.
According to the preliminary estimates, the company has invested over UAH 1.2 billion in TPP repairs in the first five months of the year.
“We are busy preparing for the next winter season. We have to keep working despite constant exposure to shelling. In May alone, the Russian attacked our TPPs three times. We even had to shut down one TPP because of the shelling and the damage of the power grid. Despite the challenges, our power engineers continue to supply so much needed electricity and repair the equipment to ensure smooth operation during the heating period,”
said DTEK Energy Chief Executive Officer Ildar Salieiev.
In 2022, DTEK Energy repaired 26 power units, having invested around UAH 2.2 billion.

Since September last year the enemy has launched 33 attacks on DTEK Energy’s TPPs. The attacks took the lives of three people and left 28 people injured. Our subcontractors and rescue teams have also lost their teammates. Since the launch of the full-scale invasion DTEK workers have restarted the TPPs and resumed the operations 23 times. To repair the equipment that was damaged or destroyed by the enemy DTEK needs nearly UAH 7 billion.
